We support both. Vedic uses sidereal zodiac (Lahiri/KP), Western uses tropical. You can switch in settings.

Our engine aligns 81.9% of top-30 dasha windows across 3,445 permitted event records from 570 charts; a separate 793-event chart-disjoint blind test scores 81.8%. Exact-day and year-placeholder results are reported separately.

What is ayanāmśa and which should I use?

Ayanāmśa corrects for precession. Lahiri is India's government standard. KP practitioners should select KP.
